WOW what a really RARE and COOL find for M1A collectors. We have the FIRST EVER ISSUED original for Vietnam USGI, OD,(which can be used with various .308 Winchester Rifles), cloth, six pocket Bandoleer. (Our auction is for the bandoleer only-no cardboard, stripper clips or guide).This ULTRA RARE BANDOLEER that was loaded by Winchester with .308 or 7.62mm ammo is actually an ORIGINAL USGI .3006 BANDOLEER FROM 1952 (that is marked on the front as our picture shows) and filled with 7.62mm ammo. Stamped on the backside of this bandoleer is the manufacture HARIAN CO DEC 1952 (showing the year of 52) The .3006 bandoleers are just a bit taller and darker green than the .308 versions. My best guess is when Winchester began loading 7.62 in bandoleers (some time during 1961) they had a bunch of un-marked .3006 ones left over from Korea laying around and not wanting to waste money they just marked the .3006 ones with 7.62mm, not realizing that collectors almost 50 years later would notice. Our Bandoleer is in mint un-issued condition. This Bandoleer was to be loaded with 60 rounds of .308 or 7.62mm Ball M-80 ammunition loaded in 5 round stripper clips by WRA (Winchester Repeating Arms, with the lot number of WRA 22111. All you need to ad to our Bandoleer to make it complete is 60 rounds of 308 ammo, 12-.308 stripper clips, six cardboards and one Stripper Clip Guide. Buyer is to pay for the shipping charges!!!!!!!!
