Description

frodo388 Store 1901 BUFFALO BILL'S WILD WEST PROGRAM a.imagelink {color:#00a3b4;} a:hover.imagelink {color:#00a3b4;} a:visited.imagelink {color:#ffffff;} a.imagelink img.auctionimage { border: 2px solid #00a3b4; } a:visited.imagelink img.auctionimage { border: 2px solid #ffffff; } Offered with this auction is an original "BUFFALO BILL'S WILD WEST AND THE CONGRESS OF ROUGH RIDERS OF THE WORLD" Program.  The date of program is from the 1901 season.  There are a total of 83 pages not including the cover.  The cover is still attached with the original staples.  It measures out at 7 1/4" x 9 1/2".  The cover was printed by "STONE LITHOGRAPH or CHROMOLITHOGRAPHIC method of printing.  There really is a ton of advertising and photographs, & etchings and historical information in this program.  Here is a small overview of some of what I've noted in the program: COVER CHROMOLITHOGRAPH IMAGES OF: Buffalo Bill Bust Buffalo Bill Shooting a Buffalo on Horse Back Buffalo Bill & a Soldier in a Gun fight with Indians BLACK & WHITE PHOTOS OR ETCHINGS OF: Buffalo Bill & Sitting Bull "Foes in '76 - Friends in '85 Annie Oakley (full page article) Annie Oakley Shoots a Parker "Old Reliable" Gun Col. W. Cody & Nate Salsbury Rex Fox "Watching & Waiting" Wild Bill Cody's TE Ranch in Big Horn Basin (Several Images) Jonnie Baker A Group of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Cow-Boys General Miles & Col Maus Riding Buffalo Bill's War Horses Col. Theodore Roosevelt Roosevelt's Rough Riders now with Buffalo Bill After the Battle of Wounded Knee 1890 - 91 and a LOT MORE!   The program is in good shape overall.  There is some chipping/wear to the front cover along the edges (top edge) with a small tear lower left corner.  The pages on the inside are are pretty good shape with a few that have corners rounded or dinged.  The first few leading in from the front cover have the same chipping at the top of the pages.  A couple that may have a corner crease.  Even staining and foxing throughout, with a few pages that have a little more staining around a corner or two.  I didn't see too much for tears on the pages, but there may be a few that I did not see.  I've included a few scans and photogrpahs of the contents as a cross section and overview of what you will find inside.  There is a reserve on this auction of $350.00. A rare find!  U.S. BUYERS I accept PayPal, Personal Checks, Money Orders, and Cashiers Checks. I prefer PayPal. Payments made by personal check will require a 7 - 10 day hold before your item is shipped. Payment is expected within 10 days of auction end. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS I welcome buyers from the international community. International buyers must use a verified PayPal account as payment. Payment is expected within 10 days of auction end. In all fairness to all potential buyers, I don’t end an auction early or tender any offers for "buy it now". I don’t participate in the "second chance offer" option.
