Some very rare chevrons. I always pay more for theones with the clear cores, that is, when I can find them,they are getting pretty scarce to find anywhere. These are small handmade beads, inner layer is clear,followed by a zig zag jagged layer of white, outtercore is brick red with striping. Some of the stripinghas worn off from more than a century of wear.In good condition for their age. These are handmade,pulled from a multi four layer cane, Venetian made inItaly during the 1800s.Size varies, but about 2mm to 4 mm thick and about 5mm wide. Like small heishi or tiny aja or eja beads.Very collectible, nice to make jewelry for. When I boughtthese, around 20 years ago, I paid $150 for a small strand,they're worth more now. Since most people can't afford a wholestrand, I've cut the strand and am offering this little lot of 10just so you can have a few in your collection at an affordable price.I hoarded these for a long time because I can't replace them.
