These lenses are a combination of auctions.. some were actually used and might have some wear.. There are antique lenses with some new ones.(( If there is a reflection it's due to the scanner)).. I have made many necklaces, pendants, or pins out of these vintage lenses.. just add some designed paper behind it and instant steampunk or goth necklace.. Each OPTOMETRIST Lens, or Trial Lenses, as they are called, measures approximately 1 1/2" in diameter.. There are 12 in this auction.. ..some might have small lines on the outside edge from the mfg. NO frosted edge. .. some silver and some gold some have no hole in the tab.. very vintage and have a patina on the metal.. some might have a rust..after all they were used ..there is glass in all of them.. .. .. great for scrap booking, punk jewelry.. some have no tab Some have numbers engraved in it on the neat tab..just right for adding the ribbon.. or a jump ring for a chain could be added.. add a ribbon to the base of the tab for a neat look!! Works wonderfully in a shadow box with personal items and a family persons photo in the lens..I also have a watch part and lens for making your own necklace listed on another aucton. check it out.. These lenses are in great shape and work for altered art, mixed media and beautiful for jewelry. this is a great buy if you need a dozen..what you see here is what you are buying..
