Extremely scarce 1897 JACK THE GIANT by E. Veale, A Palmer Cox premium You are bidding on a original 1897 copy of JACK THE GIANT illustrated by Parlmer Cox, written by E. Veale and originally distributed as a giveaway premium by The Continental department store. This 1897 16-page 6"x9" children's book is yellowed, and has a 1" right-hand edge chunk out of its cover, and has an issue rip of 1" at that RH edge spot also. A few pages have old cellophane tape over the rip. But it presents nicely! Check all the pictures! Large over-sized pictures of both covers, the insides, and both inside covers are provided below.
