1900s Duck Reach Power Station Launceston Glass Negative Electric Power Station, Launceston Spurling. No. 1229 . Very early image of the Duck Reach Power Station in Launceston, Tasmania. This was purchased with a quantity of plates that came from the Spurling Studios in Launceston, Tasmania. Wonderful image, it measures 210mm by 160mm. Could be enlarged to a huge size! Pic below is a crop from the pic above. A rare iconic Tasmanian image that would take pride of place in any collection! Postage to the US will be USD$30. Anywhere in Australia for AUD$10.
