This is a very unusual 104 year-old PC, titled: New Castle County Workhouse. The workhouse was completed in 1901 near Wilmington, Delaware, on Kirkwood Highway at Route 41. It was used for about 75 years. It was only built about 3 years before this card was printed. The card is credited to Blanchard Press, New York, postally used and mailed Dec 8 1904. It has age shading completely on reverse, some corner bumping, creasing - card is a little thinner than the average (not as stiff) - still a great item and historical collectible for the Greenbank, Wilmington, or general Delaware collector.
