T 1907 New York City Police Detective Bureau Bertillon Photo ID Card From near the turn of the last century, before fingerprints became the standard in criminal identification, Bertilllon Measurements were the most advanced method of classification. This particular card, from New York City's Detective Bureau, profiled one Theo. Bonfrisco, a driver from Italy, arrested for assault and robbery on June 5, 1907. The front of the the card bears the black & white, full face and profile mug shot, while the rear is neatly filled in with the particulars. Card No: 12328. Measures about 5 1/2" by 3 1/4".
