Alaska-Yukon Exposition real photo postcard, with a great view of a couple Expo buildings at left, with another building in the right background with scaffolding visible, indicating this photo was taken while the Expo was still under construction. Colorless embossed imprint at lower right: "LOWMAN & HANFORD S.&P. Co., SEATTLE". Postally used with Oct. 1, 1909 dated SEATTLE, WASH. World's Fair slogan cancel tying 1c green Franklin. Of special interest is the fancy oval handstamp on the message side: "ALASKA-YUKON-PACIFIC EXPO/THE FAIR THAT WILL/BE READY/JUNE 1ST TO OCT. 18TH/SEATTLE 1909". Tiny crease at lower right corner, otherwise Very Fine.
