I have several lots of papers, photographs and certificates etc. with connections to the families of John Tilbury ( farmer ) and Sir William Pink ( land owner ) Denmead , Hampshire.Some lots are different family names but everything has come from the same estate. I will refer to all these lots as Tilbury/Pink papers. 1910 Original photograph. Shop front of ' H. Fry & Co '. Mr. Ferry proudly stands outside his shop. I beleive this to be in the Ealing/Uxbridge area. The shop sign also says ' Bon Marche '. It is a very sharp image and you can read the small notices with a glass. " Novelty Straws ", " Great Coronation Sale " ( I assune King George V ), " Great Shilling Sale Now On ", " Hosiery and Underwear ". The date on the brickwork above the shop is 1909. The board is a bit grubby but the photo is very good. The actual photograph measures 6 x 4.25 inches. I also have a separate lot of seven Ferry family photographs taken by the Photographers Wards Studios, 129, High St. Uxbridge, Laurens, Uxbridge and Wakefield, 1, High St. Ealing W.
