There is no commercial inscription.   The Maker's mark is "Florense - Cook Pottery Co." Condition: This plate is nice and bright with no cracks. I see several chips on the reverse that appear to have been sealed. It has minor crazing both front and back.  The images have weakened somewhat with age, but quite acceptable.    I use extra caution when packaging, and use plenty of packing material.but you are urged to consider optional insurancePlease read "Terms of Sale" Below) Note that the picture will enlargefor a very detailed view. (Click the "Supersized Image" underline)   Bid in confidence! No Reserve - Good Feedback - Fair Shipping - Money BackCombined Shipping:  Any number of "winners" go for the priceof just the few extra ounces.  Please wait for a 'combined' invoice after I weigh them together...and I'll save you some postage!  NOTES ABOUT SHIPPING:(1.)  With about 1500 shipments behind me, Please be assured that I'll get your parcel to you safely.  I appreciate those buyers who continue to acknowledge 'good packing job!' when they leave positive feedback.   I appologize to those who have experienced a delay in shipping...but I'm sometimes called away for other responsibilities. I don't inflate postage beyond actual cost!  I base postage on the official US Postal Service rates and add only $1.50 ($3.00 for overseas and Canada) to cover packaging expense. I pack every item carefully with new or recycled packaging material and the added S/H doesn't always cover the actual cost.  Computer paper, tape, bubble-wrap, zip-lock bags, sticky-back postage labels and other supplies drive up the costs...and then there are fees assessed by eBay and PayPal.  Foreign orders are assessed an 'exchange exchange fee' by PayPal.   Believe me:  $1.50 (or $3.00 for "Foreign") added for S/H isn't a winning proposition! (2.)  Whenever possible, I use USPS-supplied packing material...but that requires PRIORITY MAIL.  If your purchase requires a HARD BOX to prevent shipping damage, ...that's the only way I'll do it.  Staples and Office Depot sell similar boxes for an outrageous price, and I don't buy their boxes, just to be able to ship to you by USPS First Class. If I did so, the costs (to ship 1st Class) would be higher (than Priority Mail)!(3.)  If you are in the USA, and your item is "flat" ...like photos, menus, post-cards, etc, I may offer First Class Mail or Media Mail, but that's my option, based on best protecting your item against rough handling.  Safe arrival is my goal and I'll always back your package with stiff cardboard...never a 'floppy' envelope.  (4.)  None of us have any control over postage rates....but I'd rather listen to you 'gripe' about the cost of postage than have you disappointed with a damaged shipment.  Please don't ask me to be a "CHEAP CHARLIE" just to save you a buck on an otherwise good packing job.   Notice to Bidders outside the U.S..,including my Canadian friends:  I   don't   ship by "USPS International First-Class",or other "standard-rate" or "surface" delivery methods  due to sometimes slow shipping and lack of traceability.(1.)  eBay, PayPal, and the US Postal Service no longer provide the tools to print postage for "USPS International First Class" on-line.  I'm not equipped or prepared to take your individual parcel to the Post Office for special handling  ...and simply don't offer that service.(2.) If you are outside the US, you must choose "Priority International Mail",  There are no exceptions.(3.)  Customs value will be listed accurately.  Please do not ask to have your parcel listed as a "gift" or with less than full value.  It is a violation of federal law...and I simply won't do it.(4.)  I will, however, describe your item in generic terms to mask its attractiveness to postal thieves. Further, I will add a note "Used Item - No Commercial Value".  If you have other wording that might lessen Import Tax in your country, please contact me, and I'll use your wording. For USA bidders:I pay extra to provide traceability on every shipment, regardless of the shipping method you choose.  I've NEVER had a US-bound shipment go missing for more than a few days. All Sales are Money Back GuaranteedCase #1:  I try to be accurate and honest, but might occasionally overlook a flaw or defect.  Blame it on 66 y/o eyesight...or outright forgetfulness when I write a description.  I know how important it is...particularly with highly-collectible items where condition and appearance is everything.  If I overlook something important, make factual error, or neglect a material fact, I expect to get the item back... and I'll make a full refund...and do it quickly and keep a smile on my face!! Case #2:  My guarantee is honest...but I won't be "chiseled" or "whittled".   If the goods aren't substantially as described,  I expect the item to be returned.   I  will not  'adjust' the sale price or terms after the sale.  That would be entirely unfair to others who also bid in good faith, on the same item  and under the same terms.Case #3:  Finally, You have participated in an AUCTION....not a department store transaction!  I don't sell or ship items "FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION" or "ON APPROVAL"!  If you change your mind or suffer a case of "buyer's remorse"...just be truthful, and say so...  If you want to rescind the sale, keep in mind that you're committing a serious breach of age-old auction ethics and etiquette.  It's not only unfair to other ethical bidders, but...I don't like it, and eBay takes a dim view also.In Case #3, The Following Terms Apply:Returns must be made "postage paid"Refunds are not made for postage or insurance in either direction.  Other fees and charges may be deducted as appropriate.(Depending on the circumstances, I reserve the right to leave a profound negative feedback)An Important Legal Notice, that applies to all sales/shipments:All Shipments are F.O.B. Point of Origin,New Port Richey, Florida. This is a legally binding  term, under U.S. Uniform Commercial Code, (UCC), that simply means that my responsibility for non-delivery or freight damage ends when the freight carrier (USPS, in most cases), takes possession of your shipment at my front door or the Post Office.  The evidence of a tracking number and shipping date is conclusive proof that your parcel was handed off  to the freight carrier (usually USPS) ...and that it's care, custody and control has passed to them.  I will do everything humanly possible to pack your shipment well...but I have NO CONTROL over how the Postal Service may treat your parcel once it leaves my hands.  Insurance is offered on all shipments and HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.  I will not accept loss or damage claims for un-insured parcels.  If you insure your parcel and suffer a loss because of damage or non-delivery, I'll fully cooperate with the insurance claim process. I can't be an expert on the variety of treasures that I find to list.  I promise however, to say "My Best Guess" ... or other words like that, so you know I'm unsure, speculating, or purely guessing. I shoot my own pictures, write my own listings, pack and ship...and sweep the floor when I'm done.  Like Harry Truman, "the buck stops here!"  I'd rather be ultra-critical about what I say than risk your disappointment.  Feed Back Policy:Bottom line:  Prompt payment alone doesn't guarantee that positive feedback will be sent.  That's just the first step in the process.  You, as the buyer, must START THE FEED-BACK PROCESS and express your acceptance and satisfaction...and THEN, I'm very pleased to leave positive feed-back for you.  I'm too old to run a brick and mortar store...but here is my full contact info.  I'm real...and so are the goods I offer:Roger Cunningham6531 Ketch LaneNew Port Richey, FL 34653(727) 232-0974akguy@tampabay.rr.com roger34653 Store
