1940s Karoff Originals Bakelite Catalin Cocktail Set For sale at a fixed price is this very hard to find Seafood Cocktail set with 6 individual servers. These were sold as a Karoff Originals...with the early paint palet trademark on the box. The inserts are molded glass sauce holders. The little tray/holders are a heavy early plastic. I think it is Catalin. Mottled pink in color, they are in the shape of an oyster half shell. These are from either the very late 1930s or early 1940s. Condition of all the pieces is absolutely mint as is the box. The box is marked Karloff Originals Ltd., Fifth Avenue, New York 1, New York. :-) About MeVernon Nokes, P.O.
