1940's Vintage Compact, Lipstick, Cigarette Case Purse All images are of the actual auction items. Description This auction is for a 1940's carry all metal purse, It is still in the original box with the original cloth case. It has a clip-on lipstick holder on the side, compact compartment with unused powder puff, little pocket to hold coins, sewing kit or whatever with a hair comb on the other side as shown. There is a mirror which is just a little cloudy from age but still could be used. When you open the other side there is a cigarette holder as shown. Opens and closes nicely but there is a little wear on the edges from age. It has a small metal handle and there is no wear on the front diamond pattern as shown. It has shiny goldtone and brushed diamonds with little flowers in the design. Measures 3" x 4" and is 1" thick. No manufacturers name that I could find. There are some wear on the back as shown from use, but none on the front. Very nice piece for collectors! Shipping charges will vary between $5.50 and $7.50 depending on zip code.
