You are bidding on an original VARGAS 1944 CALENDER YEAR BOOK. Alberto Vargas is probably the best known and most respected pinup artist. His calenders were exquisite examples of the emergent pop culture during and folowing WW II. All photos of the Varga girls and associated calenders, with the exception of the January, February, October, and November pages, are intact and in excellent condition with no rips, tears, holes on any pages. There is some very minor foxing on the January, February, October and November pages and some minor scraping on the front and back cover. The March pinup girl and calender are missing. The front and back covers are held together with two plastic spiral ring binders. The calender measures 10 1/4 " wide x 11 3/4" high.
