This item is from Saturday and Sunday, May 28 and 29, 1966. It is from the Shasta County, Redding, California Sheriff's Posse rodeo. It was the 18th annual rodeo at the time. The cost of the program was 50c as noted in the upper right hand corner of the cover. The program is a little dinghy and beat up, but otherwise intact. There is a forward from the then, Sheriff of Shasta County, John Balma, along with a black and white picture of him on his horse on the opposite page. There are some pen markings inside, as the previous owner of this program made notations on certain persons. World Champion all around cowboy Dean Oliver of Boise, Idaho is featured, as is Jim Houston, Glen Franklin, Harley May, Shawn Davis, Larry Mahan, and Jim Rodriques. The back cover is a colorized ad for McColl's dairy milk.
