Beautiful 1974 6-piece set of Krewe of Crescent City aluminum Mardi Gras doubloons. Included are the plain and gold aluminum (thrown from floats) and the special purple, green, red and blue (struck on thick planchets and given only as krewe favors). A tribute to the Ursuline nuns appears on the reverse. All doubloons I offer are free of any damage from Hurricane Katrina. A great addition to your collection.
