Now comes AUTHENTIC Soviet Naval Officer Parade Dress Dagger. Measured 13.5 inches long. Double-edged, mirror-polished blade with manufacturer' mark ( Bulat ). Octagonal handle has pommel emblazoned with hammer and sickle/star insignia. Leather scabbard is accented with brass hardware, displaying marine anchor on one side and old-fashioned frigate at full sail on the other. Manufactured in 1989. Manufacturer's and year marks are featured on the blade. Worn, however there is no severe damages or missing parts. Abrasion marks, worn off spots, scratches on the fittings/guard, few nicks on the blade don't diminish the value but rather add the character and prove the authenticity. Nothing was made up or repaired. Please make your own judgement through attached scans. What you see is what you are going to get. Scans show actual stuff. It's not a copy from catalog ; someone's Web site ; article from private collection or movie prop. Great Soviet military memorabilia from Cold War era! Keep in mind, abovementioned item is OBSOLETE and may be considered as antique piece.
