These hand-forged dividers are eight and a quarter inches long, and extremely robust and well made. The pointers are jointed and the arc-shaped bar is riveted to them, as is the lock nut, which has a brass washer for softness, to retain the tightness when set. They were made for heavy-duty work, like masonry, and are in very good condition. They look to be from the late Victorian era. Postage in the UK is £1.50, and airmail to the rest of the world is £4.
