This 8 3/8 inch long wood bench plane is a wonderful useable early tool probably made 1890 to 1910.The body and blade wedge are a lighter colored hard wood,maybe maple or oak.** MARKS/MAKER:This is stamped OHIO TOOL CO. COLUMBUS, OHIO on the front of the body.The blade is marked with the trademark for OHIO TOOL CO.
