This 8 3/4 inch long wood bench plane is a wonderful useable early tool probably made 1890 to 1910.It has a unusal right side 1/2 inch high flat guide probably for cabinetry work.This is a light colored oak hard wood.** MARKS/MAKER:No marks that I can find.**SIZE:8 3/4" long X 2 3/4" wide X 3" high.**CONDITION:This is intact except for a missing standard size2 inch wide blade.This is 100+ years and has about 95% finish.The wood body has no end grain cracking.This is in such good condition,but does not appear to be refinished because it doesn't have under varnish stains.**.This would be a great addition for a early tool or carpenter's plane collection and it displays really beautifully.SHIPPING:This item should weigh about 2 1/2 pounds packed.I ship with U.S.Postal Service and charge $2.75 for packing / handling / materials / U.S.delivery confirmation.The ebay shipping calculator should provide cost including S/H/M/DC charges.I refund excess shipping when significant in whole dollars.(I review this once a week).INSURANCE:Optional.I pack well - see my feedback -but if the item is not received or is received damaged you must submit the claim with your local post office if insured.If not insured,your only recourse is to call 1 800 ASK USPS to make a formal complaint.Be sure to get a complaint tracking number for follow-up.NOTES:I combine shipping costs whenever possible.This item is sold without reserve.Thank you for looking.FEEDBACK:Review my return policy if desired.I represent my items with my best efforts and want your satisfaction.I would really appreciate good feedback.please communicate problems.The feedback thing helps both of us.
