This is a Wonderful post-Civil War American document from the 39th Congress/ U.S. House of Representatives: a 4-page printed "Letter from the Secretary of the Treasury" on Registered Foreign Vessels. Size approx. 5 1/2" by 9". Nice Condition. Disbound from volume ...This document, from Andrew Johnson's tenure as President of the Unite States, is signed, in type, by H. McCULLOCH, Secretary of the Treasury. Frameable/Displayable. Low beginning bid. A REALLY Great American document, today 142 years old! Buyer pays $2.95S&H, higher for Air Mail postage outside the U.S. ***Please see scan. I will ship this document unfolded in a plastic protector envelope w/cardboard backing. The yellowish cast you see in the photograph is due to my scanner which over-emphasizes even slight differences in color. The document is an off-white/buff color, but Not yellow and motley!!!
