2-3rd US INFANTRY REGIMENT GERMANY 1946 CIGARETTE CASES DESCRIPTION Here are (2) Plastic Cigarette Cases that I believe depict the United States ARMY- 3rd US Infantry Regiment. The regiment is readily identified by its nickname, The Old Guard (TOG for short). The regimental motto is "Noli Me Tangere" (Do Not Touch Me-or Touch Me Not). As shown in the pictures, each case is incised in the mold on the front "3D INFANTRY REGIMENT-GERMANY-1946" on a Red background, and the back has the 3rd Infantry Regiment Black, White, and Blue Hat coat of arms incised in the mold. Each case measures approx. 3" Square, the top of the case is removable. Both cases are in very good vintage condition, with some use scratches.
