Description

In these days of uncomfortable. overpriced plane travel, here is an interesting collectible that hearkens back to a more elegant time.  This set of 2 menu cards is from a trans-Atlantic cruise in the summer of 1928. The travelers (who were from Houston, TX), were travelling 3rd class on the Anchor Line ship, S.S. Caledonia to London.  The cards represent: Wednesday June 5, 1929 - dinner - featuring Duckling Cutlets with peas, Roast Quarters of Lamb and Fried Filet of Brill. Saturday, June 8, 1929 - the Farewell Dinner - featuring Striped Bass, Roast Ribs and Sirloin of Beef and Roast Turkey. The cards are almost 80 years old and show some minor signs of wear.  There are no rips or tears that would mar the appearance. We aim to please!  We offer a refund if the product is found in any way deficient from the ad.  We also combine shipping on multiple purchases. Thanks for shopping.
