20 Volume Set of Time Life Collector's Library of The Civil War Gold Leaf, Leather-Bond Covers, Ribbon bookmark I bought this collection one book at a time by mail in the early 1980s. These books are in excellent shape just as they were when I paid $22.18 for EACH of them. There is still a few receipts in the books. SO I paid over $440.00 for this collection over 30 years ago. These leather-bound volumes have been reproduced photographically from the original editions. Thus it preserves the authenticity of the originals, including typographical errors and printing irregularities. This is a super nice set that I've enjoyed owning over the years. I have read most of them at least once. They all appear to be in like new condition and would be a great addition to any collector's library. It is almost like owning the original editions but these are in much nicer shape allowing you to enjoy reading them. I am an ordained minister with two daughters in college trying to make ends meet. I do the best I can with all my descriptions when I list an item to be as honest and truthful as possible. Please use the photos as your guide and ask questions before the auction ends. My wife and I are selling several personal items and collections only because of present family needs. The Lord has always blessed us and met our needs but in such times as this we have to buckle down and even sell some of the items that He has allowed us to collect over the years.
