These are grade N42, BETTER and MORE POWERFUL than the other rare earth magnets that are of a lower grade (N30-n35). They are 9-10 times MORE POWERFUL than your average Alnico or Ceramic magnets, and are a relatively new invention. North/South poles located on flat ends of these cylinders. Our magnets have a high gloss protective nickel coating to prevent corrosion.
