Mrs.Miniver NOW HAS AN eBay STORE!! JUST click here * * * * * Up for sale are Three of the RAREST Batman Movie Posters you will ever see! ALL three of these posters were used to advertise the film in the Los Angeles OUTDOOR advertising market. Unlike the regular theatrical posters and one-sheets for The Dark Knight these were not printed in massive quantity to satisfy the collecting market. In fact, these posters are SOOOOOOOO rare that you will not find another dealer ANYWHERE in the world that has them! First you get an AMAZING 4 foot by 6 foot giant Wild Posting poster that has imagery not found on any other Batman poster! This poster was pasted up in select areas of LA to advertise the film and cross promote the VCAST Screen Image available when the film came out. Almost NONE survived! Legendary Pictures, DC and Warner Brothers Pictures issued the poster (see photos #3 & 4). I also have photos documenting one of the posters hanging during the pictures initial release (see photo # 5). The poster offered here is rolled in NearMINT shape. Second you get a remarkable 14 inch by 20 inch ADVANCE (4/28/08) New Card sanctioned by Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Comics (see photo #7. What a GREAT IMAGE! Also not found on the any other poster for the film! Insanely rare! These cards were displayed at select LA Times newspaper outlets. This poster was saved before it was used and is NearMINT to MINT condition! Third and MOST important is a special IMAX Advance Wild Posting One-Sheet. This poster was pasted up around LA to advertise the upcoming film and IMAX. Notice the IMAX mention at the bottom of the poster. The regular theatrical one-sheets (27x40) do not have this. Warners issued 3 style IMAX Wild Post One-Sheets. As hard as I tried, and believe me I tried hard, I could ONLY find this one style. These Wild Posting One-Sheets are SOOOOOOO RARE because they were were pasted up and destroyed and printed in small quantities! I have posted photos documenting how they were used (see photos #9-12). The posters measure 24x36 inches, a common size for Wild Posting One-Sheets. I have a Rocky one-sheet from 1976 made for Wild Posting that is the same size. If you look in the photos of the posters hanging outdoors you will notice I had someone stand with a ruler to show the size. Also you will notice the posters are a different color than the one I am offering. That is because the ones hanging outside are sun-faded. The one offered here is NOT. It is NearMINT SOLID! The poster was made folded but has been stored flat since I got it and barely shows the folds. A tremendous collection and a MUST for any serious Batman poster collector. Christopher Nolan ...
