In this group of cards for sale are 3 FIGHTING MARINES cards. I could not find these same cards in my research and do not know what year they were distributed. (If someone knows, please send me a quick e-mail- Thanks!) Two of the cards are from a set of 23 "Marines in Training" cards. They are numbers 5 and 22. The images are from official USMC Photos. The other card is from a set of 25 "Marines in the Pacific" cards. It says "No. 17 in a Series of 25" on the back, but it also has the number 40 at the top. It is from an official USMC Painting.They are smaller than regular trading cards - 2"x3". All three are in pretty good shape, the corners are bent a bit. (see photos). The "Battle for Tarawa" card has a stain at the top that shows on the back more than on the front. Also for sale is 1 WAR BULLETIN card. It is number 83 and shows Winston Churchill arriving in Germany for the Potsdam Conference. This card dates to 1965. It is a bit dirty near the top (see photo), and the corners are bent a bit. It is still in great shape. Please Note: I do my best to accurately photo and describe each item.
