I am reducing prices prices on several beads from my collection. Many of these beads have sold at more than twice the buy it now price in auction format. This is a great opportunity to pick up some rare beads at great prices. . In the predynastic period in Egypt, before 3200 BC, disk beads were made from fossilized sea shells. These were found in the desert and dated to a period when it was under water about 20,000 years before. Today, they are 25,000-30,000 years old. The beads made from them are over 5000 years old. Up for auction are a lot of five of these beads. They are quite large for these, they range from 8.0 mm to 8.6 mm. Condition is as shown. Because they are perishable, they are quite rare.
