UP FOR AUCTION is this boldly colored, mid 1990's "Jams World" Hawaiian shirt, originally sized as an adult small. This EYE POPPING shirt has a POP ART look and a Miami beach theme. The fabric pattern is a frantic fluid collage of imagery that seems to focus on signage that one sees when at Miami beach no matter if it is on a moving vehicle or on static street signs. The source images seem to be from photos that were lavishly colored over in the screen print process much like Andy Warhol did with his portraitures. Intermingled with the signage are palm trees and Hawaiian Hibiscus flowers. Although the tags do not state the nature of the fabric I know it to be 100% rayon. This shirt has one 1mm sized hole located on the lower left side of the shirt. Other than that the shirt is in excellent pre-worn condition. With No repairs... No pulled seams... No structural damage... No spots... No neck stains... No recognizable color loss ... a VERY VIBRANT WELL KEPT SHIRT !!! All 5 frontal buttons are nice and secure with the extra button still intact on the inside of the shirt. All the buttons are original to the shirt and are black with a speckling of blue. The shirt features one left chest pocket, a 5 button front, a pleat over either shoulder blade and a long tailed back bottom hem. The secondary tag in the shirt is faint but still very readable. It gives the shirts style number, care instructions, it states that the shirt is from the Hawaiian line and it states made in the U.S.A., but it does not give a fabric pattern name. Actual measurements of garment (measured while laying flat): shoulder to shoulder: 18 inches Arm pit to arm pit: 21 inches Arm length: 9.25 inches Length (top of back folded collar to back bottom hem): 30 inches The shirt is alot more vibrant in person than in the photos.
