This is an original cut edge shoulder sleeve insignia worn by airman assigned to the AAF Air Material Command. Operational from 1947-1950, this unit was activated at Wright Field, Ohio. The functions of research and development and logistics were operated separately during World War II until they were reunited for several years in the late 1940s. This an excellent gift/momento for a vet. Please ask questions if you have them and I'll do my best. Additional scans or pictures available if you are serious. I will ship overseas but you would do well to send me your country before bidding becasue it isn't cheap. Shipping costs shown here are for domestic mailing only. I will combine shipping if you win multiple auctions. If you don't purchase insurance you are on your own with the postal service. Thanks for looking and check out my other stuff.
