This huge multiple kit includes an OSCILLOSCOPE, a VACUUM TUBE VOLT METER, an AM RADIO, and several other projects among it’s fifty (50) or so bags and boxes. I believe this kit went along with an entire RADIO - TV instructional course of studies offered by the famous DeVRY BELL & HOWELL! There were no books or manuals with the kit when I received it, sorry. Also, there was no scope tube, (easily obtainable) and no cases, although the important front panels are present. Several transformers, including power transformers for the scope and vtvm, output transformer and IF and RF transformers are included. FOUR (4) NEW 12AU7’s, plus a 6AF7, 6X4, & 1V2 tubes, a 365mfd tuning condenser, large face VTVM METER, many selector switches and potentiometers with proper knobs, pre-etched and breadboard style circuit boards, dozens of capacitors from disc to electrolytic, and all the many resistors and other small parts - see and super size the many pictures - WHEW! The 12AU7's alone are worth more than my starting price! Please ask questions and request more detailed pictures which are available. Being an early electronics item, and subject to the whims of the common carriers, the unit will be sold "as is". I will pack carefully for FREE with recycled materials. Using the most economical carrier, I will send the package for the actual charges in most cases, except for special instructions or overseas shipments. Cashier's checks, money orders, or personal checks (need to clear) are fine, sorry no PayPal. So have fun bidding, for the item sells at NO RESERVE, and you might be the happy new owner for a bargain price! Thanks and Good Luck! On May-14-08 at 18:38:08 PDT, seller added the following information: CORRECTION: The title and text should read "TVM" (transistorized volt meter) instead of VTVM (vacuum tube volt meter) my mistake noted by a sharp-eyed ebayer, thanks. I reiterate, this is an instructional kit meant to go along with a course of studies in Radio - TV Service, which were very popular in the days before IC's when you could still work on the sets. Again, there are no manuals or books with the course, but they are out there, and I will point you in the right direction. Although parts are missing, there are a Mother Lode of parts in baggies that have never even been opened! Have fun at this NO RESERVE auction, and Good Luck - Ken ^_^
