This working antique radio was manufactured by PILOT RADIO CORPORATION LONG ISLAND CITY NY USA. The heavy wooden construction is made to last and it still has the original power cord. Take notice of the large lighted round dial instead of the popular slide dial of that time. We know the new pilot radio company started in Long island city in 1934. Our best guess on the radio's age would be late 1930's or early 1940's. It is rare to find such a great collectible of the past still working. The unit has some nicks and scuff marks on it.
