DETAILS [TOP] ANTIQUE ROBY COMPANY CIVIL WAR MODEL 1860 CALVARY SWORD You are bidding on an antique Roby Company model "1860 Calvary" sword from the Civil War. Marked on the sword is U.S. and 1865 on one side and AGD, which are the inspectors initials. The entire length of the sword is 40 1/4". The handle measures 6" long. The blade measures 34 1/4" long. This sword has had the grip/wire re-done (leather) and the scabbard is a reproduction. This is a rare and antique collectible that will impress any sword and/or militia collector! GOOD LUCK!!!
