Offering a fine find here. Please see pictures. This was from a spring attic clean last year. We are offering an AMERICAN BEAUTY ELECTRIC IRON. I am sorry to say the only thing missing here is the cord. First off the box is intact but has shown its age corners are frayed and top has split but all in all intact. Top of original box shows a very old address stamp and there is some writing on the side in pencil. STATES: PAULS IRON from HAZEL. Side of box shows the American Beauty Electric Iron Catalog no# 6 1/2 B Volts 105-120 Manufactured by American Electric Heating Co. Detroit USA (oldest and largest exclusive makers) The iron itself is very durable and all intact. Has wooden handle and manufacturers stamp embedded. "AMERICAN IRON BEAUTY" On backing of Iron it is signed and embedded American beauty no. 6 1/2 B American Electrical Heater Co. PATENTED MAY 19, 1908 MAY 19, 1914 FEB 1st, 1916, VOLTS 105-120 Watts 525. Again we have no cord. We do include the trivet plate that is signed at bottom American Beauty Iron. It does have small print engraved at bottom that we cannot quite make out. Comes with the original instructions and metal doily top for iron place. Trivet is all intact. "Thanks for looking" Always open for email! To us a fine find. If only we could re-call who Paul and Hazel were? Brings back many memories!
