Tape11 Antique Sterling Filigree Tape Measure English * Circa 1800 This fancy little antique tape measure is sterling silver (tested) with lovely open filigree work all around. It has a hand marked coral colored silk tape (starts at 10"). The top turns to let out the tape and wind it back in. It's in excellent working condition with no dents, breaks or loss of filigree. It measures 3/4" in diameter and was bought in England. One is shown on p. 93 of Nerylla Taunton's book Antique Needlework Tools and Embroideries.
