Wonderful Antique 1/2L Etched Tapestry German Beer Stein with Ornate Pewter Lid and Thumblift! Circa 1900! This Wonderful Stein Features a Raised Panel (Called a "Tapestry Stein") with a Colorful Etched Scene of a Man with a Beer and Smoking a Pipe! The Sides Each have a Tapestry Scroll with a Short Incised German Phrase and the Scenes Are All Hand Painted! The Pewter Lid is Tiered and Very Ornate and the Thumblift has a Cherub Face! This Stien Measures Approx. 7 3/4" High and the Base is Unmarked and is Possibly by the Very Famous High Quality Stein Manufacturer "Hauber and Reuther" or "H&R" !
