Description

Antique cash register, manufactured in early 1937 by the National Cash Register (NCR) Company in Dayton, OH. Black enamel finish, solid wooden liner in cash drawer. Mechanical operation, still works well. Prices may be entered in 5-cent increments, up to $1.95. Has removable, wood-lined cash drawer with five coin slots and one bill slot with a spring-loaded clip. Original key is used to lock or unlock the drawer, enable machine operation for sales clerks, and reset counters that track cash and customers. It was originally used in a pub in Pennsylvania, later in a craft shop. Perfect for candy stores, yard sales, or just plain fun. Compact in size, yet very solid and secure. Height is 17”, base is 9-1/2” wide x 15-1/4” deep, machine weighs 62 lbs. Must pick up. Located in Southeastern Massachusetts.
