Wonderful ORIGINAL GENUINE advertising trade sign from estate of descendent of Dr. Harry C. Chappelear who practiced medicine in rural Hughesville Maryland at the turn of the last century , circa 1899. Great oval with beveled edge shape, measuring 14 x 19.25" . Old paint - black with white border and white stylized antique lettering . Oddly has only 3 hanging holes. Paint chipping & loss as pictured, some minor splitting.
