This auction is for an unused, vintage pink-colored greeting card that measures 4-1/8 by 5-1/4 inches. A little house on a golden hill with pink and green trees, and even bigger gold trees that look like giant ming arelias, rising above the blue sloped roof, maybe affected by the smoke coming from the chimney that is turning the trees gold - what are they smoking in there? The card is printed on pink card stock, and the white border is printed on, a really nice detail. The stylized flowers leading up to the front door seem to be Peter Max inspired, but then this card is old enough that Peter Max would have to had been inspired by this work of art. The message printed on the card - "Birthday Greetings to my Husband - A very Happy Birthday - And cheery wishes warm and true - From one who always has - A heart full of love for you." There is nothing printed on the back of this greeting card - and this card has not been pasted or glued into a scrapbook.The cards I'm offering for sale were in a relative's attic - the family had lived in the same house for over 100 years - my great-uncle Charlie lived to be 102! Uncle Charlie wasn't a collector. He just never threw anything away. I will wrap carefully with a cardboard insert and ship by First Class Mail, and each additional card you buy ships for only 25 cents more in postage.
