I list items I pick up at local estate auctions, flea markets, yard sales and many items from my own collections that I am liquidating. Since I very rarely have 2 of the same item, I must make it clear..... All sales are "as is" and "final", No Returns except for very unusual circumstances. I do my best to describe an item. I'm listing several sets of old salt & pepper shakers tonight :-) Item: This is a very interesting old plate. Looks like transferware. The picture in the middle is of several people on a gondola. There is a man and woman sitting in the middle in a covered box, a man pushing the pole a person with what looks like a blanket wrapped around them and 2 other figures that look like guards of some kind. Around the edge are pictures of flowers and pictures of 2 men with one pointing toward a sailing ship. Marked: Bologna. Note: there is what looks like a flower with 8 petals stamped over the G in the word Bologna. Condition: I'm going to call this FAIR. Unfortunatly there are 2 rather large around the top rim as well as several smaller chips. The side of the rim has black marks on it as well as on the bottom. To me it looks like this was left on a stove near hot pots and it got scorched. I was going to trash it but it is sooooooo unusual that I thought someone might want it. Measures: 9 1/2" in diameter.
