Fan Produced Set Of Blueprints From Babylon 5 This is a brand new set, ten years in the making What is for sale: A set of illustrations depicting the space station Babylon 5, as seen in the wonderful television show. These 9 sheets are each 14" x 8.5" and are a combination of full-color graphics with original pen & ink illustrations. This set includes: Exterior Profile Exterior Top View Front & Rear Views Exploded views of the rotating section Cobra Bay Detail Communications Grid Detail Starfury Fighter Detail About these blueprints: I have a confession to make: I procrastinate. When Babylon 5 came out (in 1994) I was really excited. I taped every episode and got totally wrapped up in the Babylon universe. I put about 200 man-hours into developing pen & ink illustrations of the station and worked up about 50 pages of text, all with the intent of publishing a manual and blueprint package. I never lost interest in the show, thank you TNT network, but I did loose interest in finishing the blueprints. Over the course of the five seasons some of my extrapolations were confirmed and others were shown to be wrong. As is the case with me, I put the project aside and completely forgot about it. On eBay you can find blueprints available for almost every ship ever seen on television and the movies, but not babylon 5. There is even a great set, offered by someone else, for the Starfury fighter. No blueprint collection is complete without the Babylon 5 Station. I dusted off my illustrations, updated them to fit what I now know about the station, and formatted them to allow them to be self-printed. I have recieved wonderful response to my earlier offerings on eBay, mostly re-issues of my older works. Now is your chance to own a set of blueprints never before available in any other outlet. If you see these blueprints for sale at a convention several months from now you can bet that they have been pirated. If you collect science fiction blueprints this would be a worthwild addition.
