It would still be beautiful with flowers in it or for display. It's 7 1/3" from tabletop to tip of handle, bottom says manufactured and plated by Reed & Barton, 2764, design patented Feb. 1, 1876, GILT. At the top of this writing is a small hallmark. Because of sizes listed for other Reed & Barton creamers, I believe that's what this is.
