Be sure to add me to your favorites list!This particular piece of tiger iron was collected about 30-35 years ago. It has been cut to a slab to expose the color and quality of the material and to prepare it for cabbing. The piece was photographed wet, in natural light to approximate it's appearance when polished. I've noticed that the photo color has shifted a bit due to the reflection from the sky. The true colors consists of bands of dark red and dark blue with veins of gold. The slab (slice) measures about 5 1/2"x 2 1/4" and is 1/4" thick. I have not cut any of this material so I cannot suggest the best polishing methods. I purchased this slab (slice) about 25 years ago along with about 1200 lbs. of other slabs and rough material from the original collector and have come to the realization that at my age I'm never going to cut it all, so I'm selling most of the slabs as well as much of the rough material. I have a lot of finished cabs and really don't need to cut too many more unless for a specific project.I will ship only to the United States or Canada. I prefer payment through Paypal, however, I will also accept USPS money orders.
