Unique Brass & Enamel Cigarette Caddy or Ashtray Not sure of its age but it is nowhere near new (see below). I haven't tried cleaning it. There is a greenish stone in the center of the lid which MAY be jade. I cannot tell. The only marking is China, which is embossed on the underside. ~ ~ ~ My great-aunt and great-uncle both recently passed away at the ripe old age of 93 and had an apartment house full of lovely antiques, collectibles and vintage items from years gone by. This may be the treasure that you have been searching for! I wish I could keep half of the things they had, but my house would burst at the seams. ~ ~ ~ Paypal preferred but will accept money order at my discretion.
