British Infantry patern Officers Sword with Victorian Crown and VR on bowl of sword and blade, wire wrapped fishskin handle with wire tight and fishskin complete in good conditon, bowl of sword has been buffed with pitting showing, blade in good conditon with no nicks, etching is very faint but you can make out the VC and crown, no maker on blade only gold circle inlay in the middle of the star of David, blade is 33" long, overall length is 40". Metal scabbard with brown leather cover, leather is missing from the top 1 1/2", tip is split, many scuffs to leather, overall good condition for a Victorian era sword at a low price.
