This is a first generation photo shot from the 1st flag raising taken from the USMC actual negative, Charles W. Lindberg was the last surviving member of the first flag raising on Iwo Jima. This ACTUAL PHOTO has been personally autographed by the late Charles W. Lindberg who received the SILVER STAR, PURPLE HEARTS and is in this photo along with the other men who took Iwo Jima. The photo has been signed in ink with a felt tip fine pen, (3) line inscription entirely in Charles W. Lindberg's own hand and reads: CHARLES W.
