Hard to find covered dish in chrome and black, produced only in 1935 & ’36. It is 7†in diameter and about 3 1/4 “ high. Great deco style ribbing around the edge & base of dish, and the handle. Exterior of bowl in very nice condition, nice and shiny, a few minor scratches, has older Chase mark. One teeny (1/8â€) impact mark on the top rib. Inside bowl is satin chrome, very good except the very bottom has some copper showing and a bit of discoloration. The lid has been dented right in the center and the knob is slightly angled. Black surface is sort of mottled, and one spot of light surface roughness. I don’t want to try cleaning it for fear of doing more harm than good. A shallow ½†crease on the lid, and 2 small dings near/at the edge. Trying to be very clear about problems, but this still displays very nicely. Chrome knob attached with a screw, could be removed to repair lid. Two tone appearance of black lid is from a reflection, the color is uniform except for the spotting.
