This is a really great carnival stick/cane. The head is a porcelain elephant, marked Japan in two places: impressed into the side of the neck and stapped underneath. The head is in really good condition. The stick itself is blue-painted wood, and it is complete with the metal tip and there is a trace of the gold tassel still attached under the head. The overall length is 35 1/2 inches. The head itself is about 2 inches high and about 2 inches from front to back.
