Carved Stone "Box Turtle" Planter by Comanche I don't know what kind of stone this carved planter is made from, but it is truly beautiful. There are reds, tans, browns, and blacks in very interesting patterns. (In fact, if you happen to recognize the type of stone/rock, I'd love to know it.) As you can see in the photos, the planter is a signed work (copyright Comanche) and is a box turtle (which is carved in the bottom of the bowl). The planter weighs about 1 lb. 5 oz. It is approximately 7 1/2" from nose to tail, 4 1/4" wide, and 2 1/2" tall. The piece is in very good condition. There are no cracks or repairs. (What might look like small chips are more likely part of the stone itself.) There is an accumulation of dust in some of the crevices, but I'll leave any cleaning to the new owner. Handling/packaging cost for this item is $1. NOTE: Photos were done to reflect a very close approximation of the color of this item. Remember, though, that different monitors may show slight deviations in color.I accept Paypal, money orders, and cashier's checks and ship through the U.S. Postal Service. I send a confirming e-mail after payment is received and the package is mailed. (And I really try to mail the package within two business days.) Payment must be received within 7 days of the auction's end or this item will be relisted and a non-paying bidder report filed. I pack items very carefully, but things can happen in transit and I can't assume responsibility for items lost or damaged in the mail.
