CAST IRON MONKEY BANK SPEAK No Evil – SEE No Evil – HEAR No Evil This auction buys a heavy cast iron Monkey Bank – unmarked so we don’t know maker or the exact vintage. Monkeys are seated close together with SPEAK NO EVIL on the left, SEE NO EVIL in the center & HEAR NO EVIL on the right. Monkeys are painted ginger (or caramel) with brown shading, white bellies & white snouts. They have black eyes, black lashes, red mouths & are seated on a black base. Large opening for the money slot is on back of center monkey. Bank was cast in 2 parts & is held together with 3 screws – back of head on both outside monkeys & back of base below the center monkey (screw heads are painted same as body). Monkeys measure about 4¾" x 2¾" x 4¾" tall (width taken from widest part of monkey figures – not from base). Bank is in good condition – front & back securely attached & no missing paint. Great piece to display or add to a See/Hear/Speak No Evil, Figural Bank or Monkey Figurine Collection!
